By the blessings of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Sri Krsna Caitanya Mahaprabhu, we here at the Sri Sri Gaura Nitai Mandir, Sedro Woolley Wa. had a very, VERY BLISSFUL GAURA PURNIMA FESTIVAL.

As I write this report on early monday morning, instead of finishing my prescribed rounds, and looking out the window as one of the local bald eagles sits perched atop our huge cedar tree out back, I think about him, sitting high at the top of that tree, crunched all over,all by himself, waiting for his daily fare to appear out in the pasture, and I remember what we got to take part in yesterday afternoon.

Many posters were put up all over our local area, many local devotees were notified of the event, but only the fortunate got to come. All the others were either "too busy", "not interested", or just plain "didnt care."

But for the fortunate souls, who do get invited by the Lord Himself, which is an eternal invitation, by the way, did get to digest

the Holy Names of Gaura and Nitai, as well as Gulab Jamuns.

It seems, from this conditioned souls perspective, that the more we churn out these Holy Names of God during kirtan, the more we seem to relish Them and, equally important, each others company. And that is what Srila Prabhupada and all Sastra promises us if we simply continue to chant Hare Krsna maha mantra. It gets only better.

This is actual life-spiritual life. Material life is like that eagle waiting for some "food" to come by to put into his beak and then his "business" is done for the day. So all the materialists, atheists, agnostics, pretenders, pseudo spiritualists, and all others, who are continually looking for something of value in this rotten material world are just like that eagle, hoping that someday, maybe today, he will get the NECTAR, that devotees get on a daily basis when they cooperate with the order of the Supreme Lord Krsna Caitanya Mahaprabhu. That simple order is to congregationally chant the Holy Names of God.

When the Lords orders are fulfilled, then we as tiny sparks of the Supreme Being are happy, content, satisfied, and moving surely, towards the goal of life. And it goes without saying, that all our material needs are also automatically fulfilled by the Lord, just as wherever the queen goes so goes her maidservants. This Krsna Consciousness movement is scientific, sound,and directly imported from the Spiritual world. Anyone who cooperates with it, becomes happy in this lifetime and in the end, will go back to home back to Godhead.
