All glories to Srila Prabhupada
THIS JANMASTAMI/VYSAS PUJA FESTIVAL WAS THE BEST ONE
YET.
If you missed it, then you really missed something special. And these same
words were spoken by everyone present. All the vaisnavas, both local and visiting
said there was something special about this particular event. One said it was
like a seed has been planted...another said, they had never seen anything
like this, another said it was ecstatic, etc etc.
For me the best part is always the kirtans, and now lets take a look and
see what unfolds in the picture department.
This next set of photos was taken by my wife Daria, while we were totally
immersed in the Transcendental sounds of the Holy Names while Sukadev prabhu was
pumping away on the harmonium.
  Below we have some shots of the altar and offerings,
approximately 120 differents types of foodstuffs offered to the Supreme
Personality of Godhead Sri Krsna, including Gulab Jamuns (distributed
the next day)
(note the watermelon peacock with grape, blueberry, cantaloupes, and
raspberries, on skewer sticks.)

Below are more pictures of our Janmastami/vysas puja festival.
We had one section of the program where I opened some
presents we made or bought for the Lords pleasure, as well as some given
by others.
Coincidentally a large box arrived on Janmastami day from our old friend
Jitarati, which included two items, a positive and a negative impression of
Prabhupada's Lotus Feet. Two separate lotus feet plates made of some kind of
stone material or plaster, but very solid. They are beautiful and thank you
Jitarati for sending them. The devotees loved them.
We also opened some presents which included new jewellry made by myself,
and some also from Hasti Gopal from Toronto, Canada.
My wife Daria and I also bought a ruby slippers pink flowering
Dogwood Tree which will be planted in the front yard so that when
it blooms in the spring, our Deities will be able so see the flowers
thru the large 8 foot picture window in the spring.
The Deities also received tulip bulbs, lots of
incense, milk jugs, a block of sandlewood and many other things.
Thank you all for your kind donations. Oh , and my friend
Hasti Gopal also gave me an "official" Toronto transit bus shirt
and tie to wear-just in case I ever want to drive one of those buses.
