Obeisances All glories to Srila Prabhupada and Bhagavan Sri Krsna We experienced yet again, another wonderful festival, by the blessings of Srila Prabhupada. Sukadev dasa came up from LA and he and I were just watching our video clips of the play done by Kanhaiya and his eldest daughter, Elisha, about Bilvamangala Thakur during Janmastami evening. Wonderful depiction of the mood and story of Sura das (Bilvamangala Thakur). Thank you Kanhaiya and family for this very very nice service. Ok, now lets turn to the Prasadam, since that is what happened first. Here is some pictures of that "event" notice all the locally grown (our back yard) flowers....the lilies, which are all over the place, are too sweet smelling right now....

So we offered at least 108 different things for the pleasure of all the Deities-some of which traveled here for this festival along with their devotees. We made 60 different types of burfy, offered all kinds of fresh and dried fruit, herb/bread rolls, gulab jamuns, various nuts, sweet rice cooked by Sukadev, Gauranga Potatos, 4 chutneys, Pushpana rice, halava, Royal curd subji, 2 kinds of samosas, 4 kinds of pakoras from here and another brought here, custard pudding with fruit, Darias famous fruit drink(s) (Oh so good), and many others preparations brought here by the various devotees. Sorry, I am having a "senior moment" so I cannot recall all the preps.
